Exponential Antioxidant Activity

Free radicals are unstable molecules that damage or “oxidize” cells throughout the body in a process called oxidative stress. Over time, oxidative stress can leave the body’s cells and tissues unable to function properly, accelerating the aging process. Many factors in our lifestyle and environment, such as diet, exercise and air pollutants, can contribute to the production of free radicals.

Glutathione is the most powerful antioxidant in the body and often referred to as the “mother of all antioxidants” because all other antioxidants, such as vitamins C and E, rely on it to give them a second life. These single antioxidants have a “one and done” action in the body.

Solarplast provides massive natural concentrations of detoxifying antioxidants that slow the cell damage that comes from free radicals–and this antioxidant power is exponentially greater due to the presence of enzymes that facilitate the glutathione pathway of antioxidant regeneration.

Total Antioxidant Capacity (TAC) measures the ability to fight off all types of free radicals (not just one). Solarplast contains more than double the TAC of regular spinach. Most extraction process decrease TAC; the unique process for Solarplast not only preserves TAC, but enhances it.

The unique extraction process for Solarplast enhances the absorption of the antioxidants contained in spinach by 33%, while no enhanced absorption was observed with Astaxanthin from red algae.

Solarplast contains glutathione’s enzyme partners that catalyze many hundreds, if not thousands, more antioxidant reactions.

Solarplast alone contains all the necessary raw materials for the production and regeneration of glutathione:

  • Glutathione peroxidase and reductase
  • Alpha lipoic acid
  • Superoxide dismutase (SOD)
  • Catalase
  • N-acetyl-L-cysteine
  • Flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD)
  • NADPH
